Sun Valley Wagon Days begin September 1st thru September 3rd, 2023
Since 1958, the City of Ketchum has celebrated its mining history with one of the largest non-motorized parades in the West. Spend the weekend with the whole family and watch the Big Hitch Parade on Saturday at 1 p.m., featuring quality buggies, carriages, carts, and stagecoaches, is one of the largest non-motorized parades in the Pacific Northwest.
Don’t forget you can get an up-close view of the gigantic Lewis Ore Wagons on display throughout August at the Ore Wagon Museum.

Friday, Sep 1st
Sun Valley Story Tour – 10:15 am
Visit the area’s most historic locales. Jump on the Sun Valley Story Tour bus for a one-hour guided tour past historical sites such as the Horace Lewis home and mining historical sites, the Union Pacific Terminal, Comstock-Clark Mercantile Building, and many more.
Location: Tour will depart from the Visitor Center 491 Sun Valley Road, Ketchum. (The Visitor Center is located inside the Starbucks building).

Cowboy Poetry 1:00 pm

Papoose Club Pancake Breakfast, 8:00am – 12:00 pm
Serving an all-you-can-eat country breakfast of pancakes, sausages, and eggs, all flipped fried and served by club members and local characters. Proceeds benefit children’s programs throughout the Wood River Valley.
