Speaking of which\, last year’s parade was a huge success and tons of fun. So\, don’t miss the fun this year! \nFeel free to use our launch and get your boat in the parade line. Additionally\, there will be a National Anthem performance\, followed by a Boy Scouts Flag Ceremony and Boat send off. And after all the festivities\, we’ll be back for the Party\, where you can enjoy dinner and dancing with a live band. \nSAVE THE DATE: July 6\, 2024\, at 2:00 PM. \nIf you’re interested in participating in the Boat Parade Decorating Contest\, call The Boathouse at 208-431-8218 to register. You’ll be given a contestant number that must be visible on your vessel. However\, participating in the decorating contest is optional – you can totally just float in the parade if you prefer. Just remember\, the judge’s boat will be clearly visible and docked at the Lex Kunau Park. \nThe Winners and Prizes will be announced by 5pm at Portside Pizza & Pub. This event is entirely put on by volunteers\, with the proceeds going towards local trail improvement projects in the Magic Valley!\n\nParking and Bus Transportation:\n\nHere are the instructions for the event: \n– For the 10K race\, participants will park their cars at Dierkes Lake before the race. They will then be transported by bus to the start line at “Twin Falls” Falls. The race will finish at the original Falls2Falls finish line at Dierkes Lake. Participants must finish the race by 11:30 am. \n– For the half marathon and 5K races\, participants should park at River Christian Fellowship. They will start the race at River Christian Fellowship and be bussed back there after the race. All buses will return to Dierkes Lake to transport participants back to River Christian Fellowship. Please note that there will be no buses from Dierkes Lake to the start at River Christian Fellowship. Participants in the half marathon and 5K races must also finish by 11:30 am. \n  \n\nRaces:\n– Half marathon participants will start at River Christian Fellowship and make their way to the Shoshone Falls pay shack\, then will turn around and head over to “Twin Falls” Falls and back to the finish line at the original Falls2Falls finish at Dierkes Lake.\n– The 5K participants will start at River Christian Fellowship and make their way to the finish at the Original Falls2Falls finish at Dierkes Lake. \n– Food and goodies will be provided at the finish line.\n– The course routes are along paved asphalt with some hilly sections towards the waterfalls and the finish line.\n– All finishers will receive a t-shirt and swag bag with a finisher’s medal and goodies from local businesses. \nREGISTER HERE \nEvent cap is 500 participants. The fastest speed on record is a Bugatti Chiron achieving 253.01mph. Drivers come from all over the country and beyond; it’s truly an experience of a lifetime.  \nAdditional weekend events include scenic drives\, a curated Car Show\, Cars & Comedy\, hosted sponsor events\, and a live auction fundraiser for The Hunger Coalition and the local community.  \nEvents: \nThe SVTdF Car Show – Friday\, July 21\, 5 pm – 8 pm at Festival Meadow:\nThe SVTdF Car Show is a highly anticipated event with supercars\, classics\, and collectibles on display. Up to 200 cars can enter the show. This event allows spectators to check out sponsor cars\, purchase SVTdF merchandise\, and enjoy local food and beverage specialties. Highway 75 will be closed to North and South traffic. Once the road is open\, cars will be allowed to travel through going both directions. Furthermore\, no parking is allowed on Highway 75 on the four-mile permitted stretch of highway. \nThis land is regulated and governed by the Forest Service and has limited Sun Valley Tour de Force access. DESCRIPTION:48th  Annual Idaho Regatta\nIdaho’s Premier Boat Race\nJUNE 22-25\, 2023\n  \nThe Idaho Regatta is an annual boat race on the Snake River located in Burley\, Idaho\nThe 2023 Idaho Regatta race is held on the “LAST FULL” weekend in June.\nThe event hosts some of the fastest Circle Sprint Boats from across the United States. \n\nWe generally host 10 classes of boats that include; K Racing Runabouts\, Un-blown Flats\, Cracker Boxes\, Sportsman Extreme\, Competition Jet\, Grand National Endurance\, GPS 100\, 2.5 Liter Hydroplanes\, 1 Liter Hydroplanes\, and A-Stock/Junior Hydroplanes. \n\nThe race course is an approximate 1.25 mile course set up on the beautiful Snake River. They race around a buoyed course that has an island in the center of the race course. You can see the boats go behind the island\, but you don’t know what happens on the back straightaway. This adds to the excitement because you never know which boat will come from behind the island in the LEAD. \n\nThe facility that the event is hosted at is the wonderful  Rivers Edge Golf Course Marina/Park:\nThere is plenty of area for spectators to view the event from the front straightaway.  Spectators watch the boats make four laps around the 1.25 mile course racing for trophies and prizes. \n\nThe event also sports food vendors and some swag vendors for your enjoyment. \nWe sell event T-shirts to commemorate your experience at the Idaho Regatta. Some of our Race Teams also sell shirts so that you can get one from your favorite driver/boat.\nCome join us for the Northwest’s Fastest and most Prestigious Flatbottom Boat Race on the \nSnake River in scenic Burley\, Idaho. DESCRIPTION:48th  Annual Idaho Regatta\nIdaho’s Premier Boat Race\nJUNE 22-25\, 2023\n  \nThe Idaho Regatta is an annual boat race on the Snake River located in Burley\, Idaho\nThe 2023 Idaho Regatta race is held on the “LAST FULL” weekend in June.\nThe event hosts some of the fastest Circle Sprint Boats from across the United States. \n\nWe generally host 10 classes of boats that include; K Racing Runabouts\, Un-blown Flats\, Cracker Boxes\, Sportsman Extreme\, Competition Jet\, Grand National Endurance\, GPS 100\, 2.5 Liter Hydroplanes\, 1 Liter Hydroplanes\, and A-Stock/Junior Hydroplanes. \n\nThe race course is an approximate 1.25 mile course set up on the beautiful Snake River. They race around a buoyed course that has an island in the center of the race course. You can see the boats go behind the island\, but you don’t know what happens on the back straightaway. This adds to the excitement because you never know which boat will come from behind the island in the LEAD. \n\nThe facility that the event is hosted at is the wonderful  Rivers Edge Golf Course Marina/Park:\nThere is plenty of area for spectators to view the event from the front straightaway.  Spectators watch the boats make four laps around the 1.25 mile course racing for trophies and prizes. \n\nThe event also sports food vendors and some swag vendors for your enjoyment. \nWe sell event T-shirts to commemorate your experience at the Idaho Regatta. Some of our Race Teams also sell shirts so that you can get one from your favorite driver/boat.\nCome join us for the Northwest’s Fastest and most Prestigious Flatbottom Boat Race on the \nSnake River in scenic Burley\, Idaho.
