During the Wine Down Welcome Reception from 5-7 pm\, there will be more entertainment\, including a wine and beer garden\, live music\, delicious cuisine\, artist demos\, and games.  \nThe prize money of up to $55\,000 will be given during the Art & Soul of the Magic Valley Awards Ceremony beginning at 7 pm at the City Park Bandshell. \nOn Saturday\, the Art in the Park continues with the following activities: \n\nArt in the Park is from 9 am – 4 pm\, while the 32nd annual \nKids Art in the Park is from 9 – 11:45 am. \n\nThe Kids Art in the Park is a morning fine arts workshop for kids ages 3-17. Drivers come from all over the country and beyond; it’s truly an experience of a lifetime.  \nAdditional weekend events include scenic drives\, a curated Car Show\, Cars & Comedy\, hosted sponsor events\, and a live auction fundraiser for The Hunger Coalition and the local community.  \nEvents: \nThe SVTdF Car Show – Friday\, July 21\, 5 pm – 8 pm at Festival Meadow:\nThe SVTdF Car Show is a highly anticipated event with supercars\, classics\, and collectibles on display. Up to 200 cars can enter the show. This event allows spectators to check out sponsor cars\, purchase SVTdF merchandise\, and enjoy local food and beverage specialties. Be entertained with commentary from Peter Bush\, veteran radio personality\, and SVTdF Car Show advisor Max Monahan.  \n‘NO SPEED LIMIT’ High-Speed Runs at Phantom Hill – Saturday\, July 22nd\, 7:30 am – 3 pm\nThe high-speed runs occur on a four-mile stretch of Highway 75. Approximately 15 miles north of Ketchum in the scenic Sawtooth National Recreation Area  \nSpectators are allowed to view the event from Phantom Hill\nWhen the road is hot\, participating cars will travel at high speeds for 20 minutes. Highway 75 will be closed to North and South traffic. Once the road is open\, cars will be allowed to travel through going both directions. Furthermore\, no parking is allowed on Highway 75 on the four-mile permitted stretch of highway. \nThis land is regulated and governed by the Forest Service and has limited Sun Valley Tour de Force access. DESCRIPTION:July 8\, witness the action-packed 25th Annual Wake in the Snake grassroots wakeboard competition in Burley\, Idaho. This highly anticipated event promises an exciting day of wakeboarding action for the entire family to enjoy. Bring your pop-up tent and lawn chairs to secure a comfortable spot to witness the incredible displays of skill and athleticism on the water. \nAside from the action in the water\, delicious food options will be available for purchase. There will be many options like hot dogs\, hamburgers\, shaved ice\, and ice cream cones\, ensuring no one goes hungry or thirsty during the event. \nThe following will be at the event: \n\nPomerelle Ski Patrol\nFluffy Kids Lemonade Stand\nThe Snow Shoppe Shaved Ice \n\nPre-registration for the competition is mandatory and highly recommended to secure your spot early. From June 18 to July 6\, you can use the discounted pre-registration fee of $55. If you miss the pre-registration period\, on-site registration will be available for $100.  \nRider check-in will begin at 7:30 am\, followed by a mandatory rider’s meeting at 8:30 am\, and the action will kick off promptly at 9 am. \nIt’s important to note that the registration order will determine the riding order\, with the first to register to ride last and the last to register to ride first. When registering\, please enter the rider’s name rather than the name of the person making the payment. Due to time constraints\, the event can only accommodate 50 riders. \n2023 Season Divisions Age Range \n1. Veteran’s Men/Women (40 & over DOB has to be 7/06/83 or older) \n2. Furthermore\, the band is constantly writing new material and changing their playlist from festival to festival. \nSince 2007\, the Swagger Band has been perfecting their unique Celtic music style at concerts and festivals nationwide. Swagger’s music is the typical Irish celebration of alcohol\, mischief\, and music while sharing the virtues and vices of Irish-American society. They are well-recognized for their high-energy stage performances and catchy original songs. \nFour studio albums released by Swagger: \n\nTrouble on the Green (2008)\nThe Grave (2010)\nAmerica Land (2013)\nGypsy Road (2017).\n\nThey have performed alongside great musicians such as Young Dubliners\, Brother\, Albanach\, Carlos Jones\, The English Beat\, Andy Frasco\, Eric Dodge\, and Howard Jones\, to mention a few. \nThe Swagger Band at the Downtown Commons will be something to look forward to. This concert is one of many exciting acts featured in the Summer Concert Series at the Commons. Aside from music\, there will be various yummy food and drinks from local vendors. They race around a buoyed course that has an island in the center of the race course. You can see the boats go behind the island\, but you don’t know what happens on the back straightaway. This adds to the excitement because you never know which boat will come from behind the island in the LEAD. \n\nThe facility that the event is hosted at is the wonderful  Rivers Edge Golf Course Marina/Park:\nThere is plenty of area for spectators to view the event from the front straightaway.  Spectators watch the boats make four laps around the 1.25 mile course racing for trophies and prizes. \n\nThe event also sports food vendors and some swag vendors for your enjoyment. \nWe sell event T-shirts to commemorate your experience at the Idaho Regatta. DESCRIPTION:48th  Annual Idaho Regatta\nIdaho’s Premier Boat Race\nJUNE 22-25\, 2023\n  \nThe Idaho Regatta is an annual boat race on the Snake River located in Burley\, Idaho\nThe 2023 Idaho Regatta race is held on the “LAST FULL” weekend in June.\nThe event hosts some of the fastest Circle Sprint Boats from across the United States. \n\nWe generally host 10 classes of boats that include; K Racing Runabouts\, Un-blown Flats\, Cracker Boxes\, Sportsman Extreme\, Competition Jet\, Grand National Endurance\, GPS 100\, 2.5 Liter Hydroplanes\, 1 Liter Hydroplanes\, and A-Stock/Junior Hydroplanes. \n\nThe race course is an approximate 1.25 mile course set up on the beautiful Snake River. They race around a buoyed course that has an island in the center of the race course. You can see the boats go behind the island\, but you don’t know what happens on the back straightaway. This adds to the excitement because you never know which boat will come from behind the island in the LEAD. \n\nThe facility that the event is hosted at is the wonderful  Rivers Edge Golf Course Marina/Park:\nThere is plenty of area for spectators to view the event from the front straightaway.  Spectators watch the boats make four laps around the 1.25 mile course racing for trophies and prizes. \n\nThe event also sports food vendors and some swag vendors for your enjoyment. \nWe sell event T-shirts to commemorate your experience at the Idaho Regatta. Some of our Race Teams also sell shirts so that you can get one from your favorite driver/boat.\nCome join us for the Northwest’s Fastest and most Prestigious Flatbottom Boat Race on the \nSnake River in scenic Burley\, Idaho.
